In spare parts logistics, picking or order preparation phases require great agility (multiple orders to prepare in a very short time, homogeneous or heterogeneous collection carts).
The operator must have their hands free to collect parts from often grated picking cells, with limited access.
The terminal or PDA is therefore worn on the picker’s belt, and barcode scanning is done by a glove that triggers the scanner located on the top of the operator’s hand.
This ergonomics differs from that using the ring scanner fixed on the operator’s index finger, which sometimes hinders them during picking phases at the back of the cells.
Increased speed, efficiency, and safety make the PROGLOVE scanner an essential tool for intensive picking.
